Support Provision Adult Guidance

Assessment/Certification

If candidates successfully complete 60 credits (including 40 credits form the mandatory modules) they will receive a major award – QQI Level 3 Certificate in General Learning.

However if candidates achieve less than 60 credits and/or do not complete a mandatory module they will receive recognition from QQI in the form of a minor award(s).

Other Sample Combinations/Options

A maximum of 10 credits may be used from either Level 2 or Level 4.
ECDL may count for computer modules.
English and Maths at Junior Certificate Ordinary Level may count for Level 3 Communications and Level 3 Mathematics (maximum 10 credits).
