V.T.O.S. (Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme) in Kilkenny provides a wide range of courses for people over 21 and who are in receipt of Social Welfare.
Options 1
This is a one year introduction to a wide range of subjects both academic and practical, some at Junior Cert Level. Subjects range from cookery and art, to woodcarving, numeracy and IT Skills.
Options 1 & 2 Subjects include:
• Business • French • Art and Design • Cookery • Ceramics • Communications • Personal and Inter-personal Skills
• Functional Mathematics • Application of Number • Nutrition & Healthy Options
• Computers (Including Word Processing, Desktop Publishing, Spreadsheets, Database, Computer Literacy & Internet Skills)
